on my opinion : it Looks kinda cool, though I wonder how easy something like this would be to do on a non-touch (8520) device.
Also, what would be even cooler is if you could somehow save the LED's as icons to customize your theme. For all the customization you get with BlackBerry,

How to instal :
* open the file and copy all the .jad , .cod files
* go to the memory card and put the files in this folder ...\BlackBerry\documents\
* disconnect you device
* from you blackberry go to media folder and push the blackberry button
* Select explore then /media card/blackberry/documents/
* go to .jad file and mark set application permissions and click download
