Sparkle 2: EVO

Sparkle 2: EVOWhen a game drops its buying price on its first run, it’s either a genius move or panic. With Sparkle 2: EVO, it appears to be more a panic attack. The game itself does not have a lot of depth in it. All you have to do is control evolution with fingertip. That doesn’t too challenging. Aside from the need to survive, there’s no real reason to want to kill other organisms unless you want to control your empty universe, right?
The one defining factor of the game is its graphics which is pretty good except graphics never sustains a game. One would still need to play a game that makes sense. Even weirder about this game is that whatever you eat will change the way you look and live. If you happen to gorge yourself on a carnivore, you will start to look like one. In short, you are creating your own DNA. Even at the sale price of $1.99, it isn’t worth the time or effort unless you’re a DNA geek with a curiosity for the macabre.
