I love driving games, and Gran Turismo has been know for being one of the best driving simulators ever to hit the gaming industry. Now with the release of the PSP Go, comes the brand new Gran Turismo. Here on this video trailer shows comparison between real driving vs game driving, and can quite see the similarity. I really think that the best feature Gran Turismo will have is the variety of cars available (over 800 cars), and also the multiple tracks on where to race (45 tracks in all). The are some flaws though, there is no online interaction, which is a big minus point. The graphics are looking good, some might say not great, but I will personally see for myself before ranking it. Gran Turismo will be release the same day PSP Go is to be released: October 1st, 2009.

PSP Go New TV Commercial: "Its Go Time"
Very neat, said to be the first PSP Go commercial to be aired in North America. Couple of observations here:
1. I would not take it to play at the pool.
2. Second girl is playing "Little Big Planet"
3. Length is good and brief, but could have done better in the innovation department, I think.
MotorStorm: Artic Edge PSP Gameplay
It is now available Here at amazon dot com. I like racing games, and this should be interesting to play. I love the graphics and the dynamics of the the vehicles. I am just impressed and could not make a difference between PS2 graphics and the PSP.

PSP On Store Shelves Before October 1st?
I guess some businesses could not wait a couple more days till October 1st (The official PSP Go date release). Seems like a Target store somewhere Metro Atlanta area is already in business selling the Sony famous new handheld system with the $249.99 price tag. Plus I supposed this is not the only store, there could probably be more. The funny thing is that for early customers who already have the Sony PSP Go, is that they will still have to wait until the downloadable content goes available October 1st. lol :D

Beaterator For PSP Trailer 1
Now here is something you do not see quite often. Its a music game, that lets you create your own jams. After watching the trailer, it's made me be interested in this Beaterator game. Its brought to you by non other than Rockstar Games, how cool is that? I will sure look forward to Beaterator when it comes out, which is still to be announced, but hopefully soon. What do you think?

On Your Mark, Get Set, PSP Go!
Are you ready for PSP Go? Well, it is really just around the corner. Are you ready to get it for the first time, or are you willing to switch from the regular PSP? With all the news running around that the PSP Go will have about 16,000 files available for download at launch on October 1st, sounds really tempting to get one. Break down of about over 200 files in games, over 2000 in movies, and over 13,000 in television episodes. Boy! that is a lot of media!
Personally, I think it could be rather expensive to switch not only because of the sticker price of the actual unit. No UMD drive will mean you will need to purchase downloadable games, movies or other. So its rather you starting with a brand new system, than continuing on the PSP legacy, because your UMD disc collection won't play on the PSP Go!

Trailer: Naruto Shippuden: Narutimate Accel 3 For PSP
Here is the debut trailer announced at the Tokyo Game Show (TGS 2009) Naruto Shippuden: Narutimate Accel 3. Japanese game, and as for now, I have not heard when this will be coming out of Japan. It will sure give the Japanese audience something to celebrate on the Christmas holidays, because it will be released on December 10. The trailer looks excellent, much action and super moves, plus team ups. I am sure most of the anime fans will enjoy it more than non naruto anime fans of course. Will sure follow up on this game and if anything, I would predict that Naruto Shippuden: Narutimate Accel 3 (what a name..lol) will come to North America by 2010.

New Game: Dante's Inferno Trailer
Gotta be honest and say that there are some games that look attractive and I look forward to play, and there are others that seem to me have nothing interesting. Of course this game looks like a copy of God Of War. Zombie fighting was not really my thing, but I can't say I hate every game that has that theme. I sure would not recommend Dante's Inferno for kids. Even though the rating might still be pending, it looks horrific, violent, and gorerish. The "go to hell" title there on the trailer is not very welcoming... lol.
I will stay away from this game when it actually comes out on 2010. Dante's Inferno will be on PSP, PS3, and Xbox 360. Published and developed by Electronic Arts.

Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker On The PSP @ Tokyo Game Show
I have like the Konami's Metal Gear Solid Series Ever since the first one. If you did not understand the story here on this trailer, no dot feel left out. I understood some of it, It is just a way for you to get an idea what the game will be about. You will see the story unfold on the actual game. This will head to North America next year 2010. I am looking forward to it. Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker will just be an excellent reason to buy the new PSP Go for a lot of gamers, the graphics look fantastic, and the action will not disappoint I hope. Takes place in Central America? so close to home!

PSP Go Converter, Enable PSP Go To Run Original PSP Accessory Add Ons
Well, I just hope the tittle has explained it. In case the question rises up about the PSP Go not having the accessory add ons like the original PSP had. Mainly the GPS system, and the camera, I guess everything else is built-in, but I am not sure. I will need to see for myself when it comes out here in North America October 1st '09. The prototype is shown in this site here. I think it is fairly good design, but personally, I think it makes the PSP Go almost too round, but I think it will still fit your pocket. What do you all think?

PSP Minis Not So Awesome!
With the release of the PSP Go. Comes the PSP minis, which are mini games, much like the games you play on an iphone and cellphone games. So far, I have heard that Electronic Arts (EA) will have two great releases included at PSP Go launch. They are Soudoku, and Tetris.
Personally I like Tretis, but Soudoku I rather play it on the newspaper...lol. I love the idea of mini games incorporated to the PSP Go, but there is a really important element that is missed. There is no Network Play, that means no multiplayer!! What a bummer! It really is a sad, because I know if you are like me, you enjoy more playing with others, than just playing by yourself right? Maybe that will change later on (and hope it is really soon). but for now that is not a good move by Sony. I will follow up on this topic and bring more news. Until the next time folks, keep on playing. :D
Watch some of the list of mini games that will be availabe PSP and PSP Go! below

Thexder NEO (Square Enix) Exclusive For PSP
Wow! This is the kind of games I like. Thexder Neo from Square Enix will be available soon, and no later than this year 09. It kinda reminds me of Robotech, and Transformers animated series a little. I am so attracted to those cartoons, maybe because I grew up watching them. It is always neat to see robots transform into a jet or something, right? Well, this was actually a old video game, and now it is revived and updated. Japanese release is October 1st (same as PSP Go). North America release will soon follow. Watch the trailer below!

Need For Speed Shift PSP Gameplay
About the video below: short one finish line, 3 races, gran prix play, 8 cars.
I like Need For Speed Shift for the PSP. It is very addicting. I tell you once you pick up this game, you will not want to let it go. The cars are amazing, some are good at speed, but that is not all. On some races you will need a car that is good at drifting, because of the tight curves, and there are races that you score points mainly from drifting. It very challenging! I love the tracks, and the graphics are nothing short of fantastic. As you play more and advance taking 1st rank on all of the type of racing, you unlock cars, and opponents who challenge you to face off.
I'm loving much about this game, but if anything, I would have like a replay feature. There is no replay feature. Well that is about it. If you like driving games, consider Need For Speed Shift. You won't regret it.

PSP Go Pre-Release Boycotted
Nedgame, A Hollands very large retail store will not be providing PSP Gos. They have decided to boycott the brand new Sony's PSP Go. Reason being is because of the price and also because the system will not have a UMD Drive. Which means also no UMD sales.
I personally think the reasons are somewhat 50/50 bad/good. First about the price: It does not matter when you know PSP Go will be on demand, right? I know I am looking to getting a unit for myself. So who cares if it is 80 euros more than the regular PSP. So I think that is just a stupid reason. I can validate the second reason though. I know most retailers do not make much money from the game systems, but actually the games themselves. So yea, the lack of UMD can hurt their business when all the games for the PSP Go will be downloadable content.

Valkyria Chronicles 2 Announced PSP Exclusive
Valkyria Chronicles 2 exclusively for the PSP by Sega seems good. Looks attractive enough to play, I especially like the anime cut scenes even though the video is quite short. It is a war game but it does not have your average war game graphics. It has cell shaded graphics which might just be a little neat for some gamers. I have never played this series, so I am actually new to know about it. I look forward to play this game though. We will see how Valkyria Chronicles 2 does in the U.S. It was announced that it would be released in the North America by Summer 2010.

To Play Gran Turismo On The PSP You Need OFW 6.00
That is just been announced lately and the news is spreading as we speak. The file size to download that will surely be available at Playstation Network Site (PSN) is roughly 938 MB. If you wish to play Gran Turismo on the PSP, you need to update the system firmware to Official Sony PSP Firmware (OFW) 6.00
I guess people who run Custom Firmware (CFW) are out of luck for now, but maybe not for long. It really has been a while since the last available CFW update. Dark Alex dot org site is currently unavailable for this month. Hopefully by the next one, his site will be up and running and with more PSP hackable content.
For now I am just sitting here waiting what happens... a lot can happen in just a couple of weeks when Gran Turismo comes out on October 1st (same day PSP Go launches).

Gran Turismo For PSP. Talk With Developer Kazunori Yamauchi Video
Amazing! Did I hear right or the announcer say that there will be over 800 licensed cars to collect? Wow! I think that is more cars from the previous version of Gran Turismo. I am really attracted to the variety of ad hoc uses here. especially multi-player racing modes as Mr. Yamauchi explained. The graphics look awesome, I can't wait to get my hands on this great driving game.
I think for being on a handheld, Grand Turismo is really pushing its limits when it comes to handheld gaming technology. I have not played the game as of yet, and hopefully when I play it, won't disapoint... Gran Turismo comes out the same day PSP Go comes out? What are the odds?

Avatar On PSP
Has nothing to do with the anime. And here I thought it did. Looks good to be a sci-fi though. To be honest I look forward to seeing the movie than playing the game. The game will be available on Sony PSP, Playstation 3, PC, and Xbox 360. Schedule to be out on 4th quarter 2009. So that means; very soon.

Setsuka The Snow Flower
As a fanatic player of Soul Calibur (or Soulcalibur) I can't pass the opportunity to show some fan art of my favorite character. Still have not played Broken Destiny as of yet, but hopefully soon. My gameplay of the PSP game should be uploaded soon.
I simply love Setsuka. I like her style, her outfit, her dagger cleverly hidden in her umbrella. I want to be a good player knowing all her moves and strategies. I think she is just very confident in her abilities to have wear such sexy clothes and exposing lots of her skin. I mean most would just think that they will need heavy armor all over to duel in sword combat, but not Setsuka.
Love the video here. Seems that the first guy is her master, which died in a battle against Mitsurugi. Then it is Setsuka against him. She is out for revenge, and I think she well deserves it cold. haha!
I am just so ancious to play this game! any other Setsuka fans out there?

PSP Go Harder To Hack?
I have encountered some articles on where they say it is going to be almost impossible for hackers to get into the PSP Go system. One of the major reasons is that the battery of the PSP Go is already built-in, and not like the original PSP where the pandora battery was used.
Personally, I think there will be a way to hack the PSP Go. I am reminded that before pandora battery, there was a way to hack the PSP with just file download and run executable programs, do not know how many, but there were some homebrew enablers out there. Now just with a pandora battery and magic memory stick, it was just a breeze to hack the PSP.
You can never know, Sony has this war against hackers, but I think we might just be surprised on how quick they will have this system figured out as soon.
