Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) is happy with the sales results with the PSP Go at launch date."PSPgo has performed in line with our expectations, driving 100 per cent incremental volume for the category and has benefited the broad PSP portfolio with PSP-3000 also enjoying a big lift," said SCEE in a statement.
That is not all. The PSP-3000 has also grown in sales since the PSP Go launch just a week ago. It might be due to the fact that Gran Turismo was released the same day. The advantage the PSP Go buyers is that they can download Gran Turismo from PSN Store for free until October 10th.
