Popular Universal TV Remote App For iPad Coming Soon

Dijit Media, makers of the popular iPhone app Dijit, has just posted information regarding their upcoming dedicated iPad app on their blog. Get ready for some serious television watching.
When paired with Griffin Technology’s Beacon, Dijit is a universal remote for the iPhone (plus Android-based smartphones) that lets users combine remotes for all of their media devices into one place. It is user-friendly, comes with Netflix queue organization, YouTube integration, social networking access and works with over 200,000 built-in device codes.
The dedicated iPad app, still not ready for Apple approval, will make good use of the larger screen size by incorporating a user interface that is easy to use.
The Griffin Beacon will cost you $69.99, and it is a Bluetooth-enable device that talks to your mobile devices. The price tag may seem high for a glorified universal remote, but just think of how cool you will look when your buddies come over for the football game and see you surfing channels on you iPad. Plus, never losing the remote again is priceless.
