Fat Princess: Fistful of Cake PSP UMD

Sound the trumpets: the highly-anticipated PlayStation Network title Fat Princess: Fistful of Cake is bringing its comical medieval fun to PSP(PlayStation Portable), and with a host of added features. Franticly-paced and strategic, Fat Princess: Fistful of Cake pits two hordes of players against each other in comic medieval battle royale on PSP. The player’s goal is to rescue a beloved princess from the enemy castle. There is a catch, though; the adversary has been feeding her magical cake to make her heavier to carry. Team balance and strategy is crucial in Fat Princess: Fistful of Cake, as players can switch between five different character classes literally at the drop of a hat. The name of the game is cooperation, whether it is flinging another player over the enemy’s walls with a teeterboard, healing him while he charges into battle, or adding muscle to carry the hearty princess to safety.

PS3 Hokuto Musou (Asian Version) Will PSP Do?

PS3 HOKUTO MUSOU (ASIAN VERSION)

Great! and looks like the original story from the amazing anime movie: FIST OF THE NORTH STAR is played here.  Hokuto Musou is a fighting game, so you will expect to see much violence in it and gore much like if you have seen the anime.  I always to note that.  I wonder if there will be a PSP version.   I have been hearing that PSP is not a good gaming platform from people.  But keep in mind that the PSP graphics will never be compared to those with top home consoles nowadays.  It really comes close though.  PSP is still the best when it comes to gaming on the go.

More Musou action for you. Carve a future for yourself through your fists. Travel the austere worlds and punch your way through regiments of enemies. The collapsed world is for you to explore and further destroy, pick up boulders, break windows and use anything you can find on the floor as your weapons. Unlease your strongest skills and see them animated. The new 3D graphics make your shower of punches and flurry of kicks even more spectacular. The game includes new storylines and adventures and seiyuus of the anime series are back to voice their respective roles in the game, this is a fist fight you don't want to miss. This item is an Asian Version game. The back cover of the game is in Chinese. The manual is in Japanese.Text and Language during game play is in Japanese. This game is compatible with all Playstation 3 systems including both US and Japanese Playstation 3.

Zen Pinball: Rollercoaster

If Zen Pinball: Rollercoaster's iPad potential doesn't immediately strike you, it will shortly after you finish downloading it. This title simply turns your iPhone into a pinball machine, bringing all of the bright lights, lost balls and flipper action in portable form. The iPad's capabilities will accurately replicate the thrills and spills of the real thing, and will showcase the game's realistic physics on a grander scale. If you've ever wanted a pinball machine, but haven't got the funds for the real thing, the iPad alternative will be the best addition to satisfy those instinctive reflexes.

Worms

Although Worms has sold well on the iPhone, it isn't without issues. Like the Scrabble app, there are limitations with the screen. The scale of each battle is remarkably minuscule and requires an endless amount of screen-pinching to zoom in and out. Although Worms' graphics are vibrant and capture the cartoon feel of the series, every other aspect of the game is crying out for a bigger screen. With the extended playing surface of the iPad, the problems that plagued the iPhone release will be immediately solved, allowing you to focus on the most important thing: blowing the crap out of your enemies with banana bombs and flying sheep. Worms is a game that requires deft precision and control, two things the iPad's hardware will no doubt excel at.

Street Fighter IV

Although sneered at by purists of the series, there's no denying Street Fighter IV on the iPhone is a superb technical achievement. Sporting most of the visual sheen of the full release, and eight characters to get to grips with, it's definitely the best fighter on the App Store. It was a brave move by Capcom to bring this to the small screen, but already it's been snapped up by users and rocketed to the summit of the App Store's Top 25. Street Fighter IV's main drawback on the iPhone is the joystick control, an issue the iPad's superior display should help alleviate. The larger screen will also allow the amazing graphics to shine. While the increased size of the actual unit may prove to be a roadblock for some gamers, Capcom's portable fighter has the style to make it a popular choice for iPad owners.

The Secret of Monkey Island

There's no question that having Guybrush Threepwood's unforgettable original adventure on your iPhone is as cool as it gets, but move it onto the iPad, and the experience can only get better. The point-and-click interface wouldn't need any work as it's already well implemented, but the larger screen of the iPad will make it easier to navigate the colorful pirate-themed world and solve its unique puzzles. We're also big fans of the game's distinct old school look, and seeing the bustling Scumm Bar or cannibal infested Monkey Island on the iPad is going to be an interesting experience. The visuals may look a bit pixelated on the iPad, but that's also part of The Secret of Monkey Island's charm.

Scrabble

This classic board game Scrabble needs little introduction, as it continues to dominate both the App Store and its original scene. But one of the things we didn't like about the iPhone version was that juggling tiles was sometimes more difficult than it needed to be, and not being able to see the entire board at once in great detail was a pain. Both of these issues should be non-existent on the iPad, making it even easier to rack up the points with a seven letter word. The sleek design, intelligent AI and intuitive multiplayer options makes this a must-have for iPad owners.

Monopoly Classic

Monopoly Classic is another classic board game that can capitalize on the iPad's release: The main problem with Monopoly on the iPhone is that it doesn't let players look at the board when trading properties. Action buttons are also too small and require a lot of hunting-and-pecking. Ideally, EA will update the title to take full advantage of the iPad -- a fully visible board would top the list -- but even in its current iPhone form, Monopoly will prove to be a fantastic addition to the iPad. Rather than dusting off the actual gameboard and shuffling paper money, a family could conceivably place an iPad on the coffee table and start playing right away.

Glow Hockey 2

Glow Hockey 2 is a neon-tinted game influenced by the popular air-hockey arcade machines that we all know and love. While it's deliciously smooth, visually engrossing and fun to play on the iPhone, it's another title that suffers from the iPhone's small screen. Glow Hockey 2 definitely wouldn't need any tweaking to work well on the iPad, and the simple yet vibrant visuals will stand out on the new display. We also can't help but wonder about the possibilities of simultaneously running a match with two iPads pushed together. It's an exciting prospect, and definitely shouldn't be ruled out as developers look for ways to innovate on the new device.

Final Fantasy

The appearance of Final Fantasy on the iPad could potentially offer gamers the best way to experience the classic RPG title. Guiding your party on their perilous adventure is currently a fiddly experience on the iPhone thanks to some spotty touch-screen controls. You have to manually move your four heroes across the land via the on-screen d-pad, and also delve into conversations/dungeons via contextual buttons. There's something frustratingly static about it all, as the title begins to lose its grace and flow due to the inefficiency of the control scheme. The iPad's greater scale will pay dividends here, especially if you utilize a stylus to aid your quest. This will offer greater precision, and should begin to eliminate the aspects of the current app that have gotten fans riled up. If all else fails, a simple tweak to the controls could further make this an attractive iPad prospect.

Eliminate Pro

The prospect of an online shooter was hugely exciting when it first hit the iPhone, and while Eliminate Pro is visually pleasing and layered with hidden depth, it's a difficult game to pick up and play. Its main problem is the sensitivity of the controls, as the on-screen commands often have untrained players side-stepping towards a wall rather than blasting the enemy's head off. It would seem the iPad is the natural remedy to this problem. The added scale will immediately put a stop to moving in the wrong direction, and more importantly, will provide players with the opportunity to focus on the battle at hand. Since the game is based around quick-thinking and accuracy, the iPad is going to provide the best platform for the formula to work as smoothly as possible.

Mimana: Iyar Chronicles PSP Game With Sountrack Included, And Gameplay

Mimana: Iyar Chronicle is a single player, side-scrolling JRPG (Japanese role-playing game) for play on PlayStation Portable. Blending traditional RPG elements like map exploration and dungeon crawling, it allows players to engage in real-time battles in near 3D environments, where you control the movements, actions and strategy of up to four characters and impact the overall story, depending on your actions in the world of Iyar.

Story
Drunk, despondent, and down on his luck, a spellsword mercenary named Crais Sewell reluctantly accepts a job from a young, cheerful troubadour named Sophie Rothorn. Their mission: to recover seven jewels scattered throughout the world of Iyar- for what reason, Sophie refuses to say. On their travels, Sophie and Crais meet Melrose, an eccentric mage with a penchant for dissection, Tinon, a tomboy who wields her magic a little too liberally, and Patty, a young woman with a good heart and a love for magical items disproportionate to her funds. As it becomes clear that Sophie's quest is not unrelated to a past Crais would prefer to forget, he faces a choice: Will he confront his past failures, and ultimately overcome them, or succumb to despair and misery? It is entirely possible that the fate of the world, or at least Crais's corner of it, may depend on his answer....

Here below is a little gameplay action.

PlayStation Network Card... What Is That?

Well, not completely new.  I have only heard about it just recently, but in fact, I think it has been on the market since the beginning of the year 2010 .  It acts as a gift card, or credit card type, voucher, only redeemable at Playstation Network Store.  Worth depending on the amount shown in dollar sign obviously.  It will let you buy games and anything there on the store. I think this will make a great gift for anyone thinking about a gamer friend or family member.

Average price of an iPad launch game is now $4.41, up 25 percent

by Jon Jordan

Like a late night penniless gambler who finds a crisp note on his way out of the Monte Carlo casino and heads straight back inside, so with my iPad games analysis.

With EA Mobile, Gameloft and a spate of other companies including Activision and 2K Games confirming their iPad launch plans, I've quickly revisited my earlier iPad games pricing article to see the impact of these larger companies.

This new data is based on the prices of 142 games compared to 88 for the original research.

Bigger, more expensive

Significantly, companies now announcing iPad games are releasing at higher price points, with Gameloft going for $6.99 for its seven HD games, while EA Mobile and Activision have gone for $14.99 for titles such asMirror's Edge and Call of Duty: World at War: Zombies.

2K Games' Civilization Revolution is $12.99 and there's also been a lot of games added to the $4.99 category.

This means that the proportion of 99c games has dropped from 23 percent to 14 percent.

In contrast, $4.99-priced games now make up 20 percent of the total (from 10 percent), $6.99 games 12 percent (from 2 percent), and $10+ games 4 percent (from 1 percent).

The end result is that the average price of an iPad game has risen from $3.52 to $4.41.

And that's up an impressive 25 percent.

7 HD Gameloft iPad Games Revealed for $6.99

As the early iPad section of the App Store fills out, we discovered that at least some of Gameloft's current iPad launch lineup.

The iPad games which appear to be launching along side the device are:
  • Asphalt 5 HD
  • Dungeon Hunter HD
  • Modern Combat: Sandstorm HD
  • NOVA HD
  • NFL 2010 HD
  • Let's Golf HD
  • Real Soccer 2010 HD

Mirror's Edge on iPad

EA's iPad Game -Mirror's Edge-

What's dated, expensive, and launching with Apple's iPad this Saturday? If you guessed EA's late 2008 dystopian action-parkour adventure Mirror's Edge, ding-ding-ding, take a bow.
It seems EA plans to charge a whopping $15 via Apple's App Store for the iPhone version of the game (a side-scroller, unlike the first-person original) with a few extra multiplayer maps. Let's run that again in EA-speak: "All-new multiplayer features made just for the iPad."
Here's what I can't figure out. Was it supposed to be $10 originally? Was it always planned at $15? Will it still be available for the iPhone and iPod Touch? Or is it now iPad-exclusive?
It's not the first EA game to raise the traditional $10 App Store maximum price ceiling by 33 percent. Command & Conquer: Red Alert--also an iPhone app--will carry a $15 price tag as well.
Yes, that's still less expensive than the PC version, which currently retails (discounted) for $20, or the console versions that originally sold for $60 a pop. But it's still an effort to raise established an price range commensurate with the iPad's marketing position as a device that sits somewhere between a mobile phone and a laptop.
Is $15 too much for an iPad game? Cheap apps, utilities, and games arguably made the App Store what it is today, a distribution platform with some 150,000 third party apps and over 3 billion downloads. Raising the price risks stymieing that growth, though it's also arguably a toe in the water to see where the ceiling really is.
