Final Fantasy Type-0 for the PSP

Final Fantasy Type-0 is an upcoming game for Sony's PlayStation Portable system. Type-0 is the latest installment of the long running Final Fantasy series. It was previously titled Final Fantasy Agito XIII as it was originally slated to be part of Square-Enix's Fabula Nova Crystallis series that started with Final Fantasy XIII. With this name change, it's currently unknown if Type-0 will have any relationship to Final Fantasy XIII.

The game is said to use gameplay mechanics similar to that of Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII as well as make new use of the Active Time Battle system that has been in use in the Final Fantasy series since its beginning. There are twelve playable characters and each character has their own strength and weaknesses in battle.

The plot of the game centers around twelve characters who are students of the Peristerium School of Magic and how they are thrust into the conflicts of the world, mainly in the form of fighting back the forces of Milites and saving the world.

The game's developers have mentioned the game as being like an online game, but not technically multiplayer. Whether this means the game will feature elements where more than one player can affect the outcome of the game or if this reflects the fact that there are twelve playable characters is still unknown, even this close to release.

This game marks will be one of the first PlayStation Portable games to be released on two UMDs. The UMD is the Universal Media Disc and is the typical game storage media used by the PSP. It is scheduled for release in Japan on October 13th, 2011.

PSP Grader - How To Install

have been around for several years. If your not computer savvy, you may not even know what they are much less know how to install them.

First off you need to know that all your portable electronic devices work because of firmware. This is an operating system embedded in your portable device’s memory. If you buy PSP or MP player from a store, the come preloaded with the factory’s firmware. There are free updates online if you go to the factory’s home site.

So why would anyone want to go through the bother of customizing their own firmware of a PSP? A custom firmware allows for the use of home-brew applications on the PSP, charge the PSP battery by using a USB, and back up games you’ve bought on a memory stick. This lessens mechanical wear on the UMD drive which increases load time and battery life.

To set up your custom firm wear you will need to have some knowledge how computers work in order not to cause damage.

1. Download the eboot straight the application.
2. Load eboots stored in ZIP files.

Some PSP Grades have official sites where you can download the firmware for free. The first thing you need to do is find one of theses sites and download the firmware. The next thing you need to do is to extract the EBOOT .PBP file from the PSP-Firmware-390 .RAR and put it somewhere safe and easy to find.

Then choose the PSP grade of your choice and download the application. This is what you’ll use to create the bootable memory stick. Make sure this is the newest version of the application because some of the older application no longer work.

Next you’ll need to open the EBOOT .PBP file that you copied from firmware archives. Don’t worry if the path and file-name changes because it will be copied to it’s own resource directory. Make sure all this is correct make sure “Format Memorystick isn’t checked if your using a general purpose memory stick.

Check that you have a fully charged battery or it’s at least 80% charged. Than insert bootable memory stick. While holding down the L in service mode, this will make the PSP boot from the memory stick. Don’t worry if a black screen with white texts appears, this just means everything is going okay, so far.

Then press X to install 3.90 M33, Press O to install original 3.90, press [] to dump nand, press L+R+start+home to restore nand dump physically. You can press [] to form a backup of the firm ware on the memory stick. After this restart your computer. There may be some blocks when you do this, but it’s not unusual.

Pressing the X and it will write the 3.90M33-3 firmware image . Do not shut of the computer without pressing X because it may cause major problems. You’ll need to check everything to be sure everything went alright. If everything is good to go you are all set. Enjoy the feel of the way your computer now works.

PSP Portals - PSP Web Based Experience

PSP (Play Station Portable) is one of the most popular handheld gaming devices to ever hit the market. The appeal of the PSP lies not only in its small package and portability but the internet access available in newer devices. The PSP has come along way since some of the first handheld gaming devices such as the Gameboy, and offered a level of sophistication as well as impressive technology to what externally seems just like a handheld gaming device.

In addition to games and accessories to go with the PSP, there are also PSP Portals. PSP Portals are a set of web pages designed specifically for your PSP. You put these on your PSP and then are allowed to play games and use apps on them as you please. PSP Portals are a completely legal way to expand the use of your PSP device, and they have taken the internet by storm. Thousands of sites offer different PSP Portal downloads for users, and with each new creation comes new designs, graphics and capabilities with the portals. With the creation of these portals the realm of obsession with handheld gaming devices and online gaming have expanded, as the portals have become all-encompassing hobbies and even methods of income for many young gamers.

There are numerous types of portals, ranging from ones to simulate windows XP to different flash portals that are designed to look like individual themes. The portals offer different designs, backgrounds and features that allow users to update the individual look and capabilities of their PSP, multiple PSP Portals can be downloaded if desired.

After downloading a PSP Portal from a variety of online sources, hooking up your new download to your device is actually quite simple. After plugging your PSP into your computer with a usb cable, you can access your PSP's memory and files from your computer. From there you simple click and drag your PSP Portal to the folder associated with your PSP device and you are all done.

When you visit a site to download a PSP Portal, make sure the site looks legitimate before proceeding. There should be videos and screen shots of what the portal will look like once downloaded to give you a clear idea of what it will actually look like. Some more sophisticated sites even offer interactive previews of what the portal will look like once downloaded, allowing the potential user to explore exactly what the portal will be like. Each site will have its own specific download instructions that may vary slightly from the ones above, but should offer an easy method of downloading your portal.

Qriocity PSP - Music Streaming App For The PSP

For the latest app in the music world for your PSP, the Qriocity Sony 'music unlimited' streaming service is the next technology for must lovers who want to stream live music to their PSPs to turn to. The Qriocity is a live music streaming service (similar to satellite radio streaming services), which has been developed by Sony, and can be used by PSP owners to get live music from their handheld gaming devices.

The Sony Qriocity offers unlimited access to over six million songs, and allows users to personalize their own music libraries, and set up their own playlists. The service allows users to try a 30 day risk free trial on their PSP, or other wireless and handheld devices, however consumers are required to enter credit card information for the service. If, at the end of thirty days they keep the service, they will be charged a subscription monthly fee. However, if they cancel at or prior to the thirty day mark, their cards will not be charged. With this thirty day trial consumers can play songs commercial free, and choose from a library of over 6 million songs. You can also customize and get recommendations from other artists based on which songs you are currently listening to and streaming onto the PSP. Basically the Qriocity will learn your listening habits for music choices, and will make song and artist recommendations based on what you listen to.

Although it is a fairly basic service, it does offer a huge library of songs to choose from. However, for users streaming the Sony Qriocity onto their PSP devices, there have been mixed reviews about the service and quality which they have experienced. Many consumers complain that having to control a mouse-based interface which the Qriocity uses, on the joystick pad of the PSP is terrible, and takes forever. Additionally the virtual keyboard, a lag in the interface, only mediocre quality for playback do not offer the best environment for the Qriocity App. Additionally, consumers who had issues with the services claimed the load time was extremely long, and the audio, once finally completed, extremely poor.

On the other side, consumers who enjoyed the service claimed that it gave them a streaming app with all the music they wanted, sound quality was good enough, and the subscription fee was fair for the service. Overall, it is a fairly new app, so tweaks need to be worked out; but, eventually it might be a great streaming music app for PSP users.

There are free apps and apps that you pay for. These apps come from various sources. There are individual developers and commercial developers, so do be careful when using an app from an unknown source as they can contain viruses.

This comes in handy if your video player only plays certain formats, or you have downloaded from the internet. This is a free app so you can try it without worrying.

BookR is an awesome free PSP app that allows you to read all of the major text formats on the PSP. These include PDF, text files and all the rest. If you use your PSP much at all outside of the gaming realm, this is a must have because you will surely run into text files along the way.

Common PSP Wifi Problems and Fix Procedures

Numerous problems can be encountered when attempting to connect a PSP to a wireless network. The first issue occurs when the PSP is completely unable to connect to the network. In this case, the first fix that should be attempted is to turn off power saving by going to Settings, Power Save Settings, and turning off WLAN Power Save. If the problem persists, the next step is to confirm that the right network is being connected to by verifying the SSID and that the correct security key is being used. Following this, every device in the wireless network should be turned off and then turned back on again, including access points, routers, and modems. The problem can also be caused by having too many devices on a wireless network, and so other devices on the network should be disconnected. Finally, the network connection should be verified by accessing the internet through another device, such as a computer.

Another common problem is that the PSP can connect to the network, but cannot access the internet, or that the PSP can access the internet, but not Sony's servers. The most likely problem in these cases is that a router firewall is blocking communication. To solve this, certain ports must be opened in the router's firewall. For PlayStation Network and SCEA game servers, these ports include the TCP Ports 80, 443, 5223, and 10070 - 10080 and the UDP Ports 3478, 3479, 3658, and 10070. To find out how to open ports in a router, the router manufacturer should be contacted.

The last problem that may be encountered is an intermittent or unreliable wireless connection. To fix this, the signal strength must be improved. One way to do this is to simply move the PSP closer to the wireless router. This will improve the connection quality in almost every case. If this is not possible, interference should be eliminated. Physical barriers between the PSP and the router should be removed, and other sources of radiation, such as microwave ovens, florescent lighting, Bluetooth enables devices, 2.4 gigahertz cordless phones, high power sound systems, televisions, computer monitors, or any other source of Radio Frequency (RF) interference should be shut off or removed.

If none of these fixes work, the PSP should be updated to the latest firmware from Sony. If problems continue to persist, Sony technical support should be contacted as the PSP may be defective.

PSP is the Top Selling Handheld in Japan Once Again

The Nintendo 3DS is loosing some of the speed that it burst onto the scene with, while the PSP has retaken its place as the top selling handheld gaming system in Japan. Sadly, the earthquake and tsunami damage that rocked Japan in March has probably done quite a bit to set back sales of the 3DS. Reportedly, only slightly more than half of the initial Japanese shipment of 3DS units had even been sold by March. That comes to a total of 836,000 3DS units.

As of July 2011, the PSP was still pulling ahead of their Nintendo competition. During the week of July 10, the PSP sold over 26,000 units while the 3DS only sold around 23,000. That difference is perhaps more important than it might seem. Danboru Senki, which is also known as the Little Battlers among other titles, is the sixth best selling game in Japan. The last sales charts showed that no 3DS game was outselling it.

That particular RPG has the potential to become a real media franchise. If it does, the PSP would have a selling point among fans of the series in Japan. Danboru Senki follows the story of an individual who does battle with plastic robot models. In March, TV Tokyo premiered a Danboru Senki anime series. The show itself is based on a tabletop gaming system. A Danboru Senki manga has also enjoyed some popularity.

With the huge number of RPG titles that have already made waves on the PSP, this is an interesting opportunity. Mecha combat is not a new idea by any means, but these sorts of games usually do decent business. Other PSP games have also done relatively strong business in Japan recently, and many of them are connected to popular media franchise. Haruhi Suzumiya’s Mahjong and Gundam Memories: Memories of the Battle are both connected to series that rank among Japan's top properties.

To Heart 2 Dungeon Travelers is a game that saw some fare business in the week that sales were measured. It was descended from a line of romance visual novel games. Steins;Gate shares a similar lineage. That visual novel game is set in Akihabara. That setting might prove interesting to people who are in the market for such games. If the PSP should continue to enjoy such growth, however, remains to be seen. With games like these, though, it might continue to outrank the Nintendo 3DS.

How to Put Google Android On The PSP

Electronic entertainment has been on a discovery path that will be unraveled to you on how to put Google Android On the PSP as a pacesetter. Before you get to that though, you need to know a few things about online sites and hazards to avoid. There are many sites that claim to have genuine software and end up being spam and can ruin your esteemed gadget with viruses. You are advised to download Android software from pspupdates.com to obtain software that is compatible and approved for your Play Station Mobile.

Although the terms PSP may not be new to all, Play Station Portable is a games application present in the modern phones and thanks to the invention of mobility, accessories can be adapted to mobile phones and other Android applications to streamline games on your phone and keep users in touch with the latest games. In this article, we look at the procedure of installing Google Android on the PSP present in a mobile device. If you are wondering about the relationship between Google Android and PSP, the Android application offers an operating system for electronic games you have on your PSP. Have fun after taking the five steps outlined below.

IT is as easy as ABC if you ask. Just like any other software, Android Beta has to be downloaded from Google applications. This is how to go about it:

1) Download files and put a link in the video description in your computer. This is the destination of the downloaded files that contain the Android application you want to add to your Play station mobile. Remember to only visit authorized sites for this!

2) Extract all downloaded files and save them to a folder of your choice. This makes the files available on your PC ready for transfer to the port of your gadget.

3) Insert the memory stick to your PC and allow it to register.

4) The memory stick has a number of files in it, open the folders and go to PSP. Once you land on it, open it and you are ready to transfer files. Open two windows, one with the downloaded files on your computer and the other with PSP on your memory stick so that you copy the files to the latter. It takes a short while to copy the files to the memory stick.

5) Close the windows and remove the memory stick. It already has the Android Beta files.

6) Insert the memory stick to your mobile gadget and once your gadget senses its presence, open it to Android Beta application and go straight to PSP. You have all you wanted and you can actually see it on your screen.

7) On the display are all your desired applications right ion your screen, Touch any to open and enjoy your software!

As displayed above, it is an easy procedure that takes a very short time to install. Better yet, updates to the Android applications will follow the same route once needed and they can be updated in a much simpler way.

Play station portable is the new charm for now day’s youth, as they can carry their games around with them all the time and get in to playing mode any time they want to. From the year 2006 till 2011 many football games came to the surface but only a few could make their mark among the audience. Following are the best football games available on PSP these days.

1. Madden NFL 11
Madden NFL 11 is one of the best games of football available in the market these days. With significant improvement over the past version of the game, this game has made its mark among the players and the critics as well. The game has improved artificial intelligence on both the sides of the ball, play calling system is also streamlined and to add a change to the game the commentary has been given to the Gus Johnson instead of the dull Tom Hammond. The addition of the game flow is the most significant change in the game as you can now call your offensive and defensive plays by just clicking a button. The game is a treat to play and has an average rating of 8 from both the players and the critics.

2. Madden NFL 10
Madden NFL 10 is among the top candidates for being the best game of football. With an average rating of 8.4 from the critics and 8 from the players, this game has a lot in the bag for the players. There has been significant improvement in many departments over the previous version, like the passing in the game is much more realistic now, online franchise works very well and the new tackling techniques through the Pro-Tak system. Commentary however, is still boring and dull.

3. NCAA Football 10
NCAA Football 10 is definitely the most addictive of all the football games available these days. With the season showdown at one end surprising the players and on the other end an 8.2 average rating from the players and the critics, this game has definitely got something for the players. The defensive aids are finally working well in the game and the whole flow of the game now feels alright.

4. Madden NFL 09
A lot of work has been done on the graphics and the animation portion of the Madden NFL 09, and has certainly got the critics attention. The treat element of the game is the tremendous commentary by Cris Collinsworth. The specially added backtrack feature tells the player why the play was a failure and the rewind option gives him the chance to play that portion again. Formation audible is also a good addition to the game, allowing the player to change plays easily.

5. Madden NFL 12
Yet to be released this August, Madden NFL 12 is the game that has got all the attention of the audience and the football lovers. The game promises great changes over the previous version and has a unique feature of human controlled cameras; which has specially got attention, and is the topic of discussion these days. The tackling has been made more realistic and many of the tackling techniques have been added to the game. Numerous visual additions have also been made to the game and that is what makes it one of the most awaited games.

6. NFL Street 3
NFL Street 3 is among the average games that has a normal fan following and has respectable place in the critics list. Released in the year 2006, this game has an average rating of 6.8 from the critics and 7.9 from the players. The fast paced game play is the attraction of the game and has definitely given a unique taste to it. The respect the street mode in the game has a lot of options and allows the player to free his arms. Generally speaking, the graphics look much better on the PSP than on PS-2.

7. NCAA Football 09
NCAA Football 09 is a real improvement in many aspects like the advance graphics and animations are really good to look at. The game makers have put in hard work in making the college environment as real as possible. The online dynasty mode has an added feature of supporting 12 players at a time, which is enough to satisfy many players. The game has also the feature of home team getting an advantage but it is pretty balanced and not cheap at all. The game has a normal rating of 7.5 from the critics and 7.9 rating from the players.

8. Madden NFL 07
Madden NFL 07 has retained back what it lost in the 2006 version, that is many key features like advance tackling techniques and quality graphics. Highlight stick and the lead blocker controls are a pleasant change in the game play. The super star mode is very reasonable this year and is not like the previous editions. The key feature of the game is the inclusion of the hall of the fame players in the game as well, and adds a different taste to the game.

9. NFL Street 2: Unleashed
The game has all the game modes of the Street version 2 as well and is a decent game over all. Due to the dumbed down graphics from the PS 2 version the game gets an average score of 7.3 from the critics and 7.8 from the players. Many of the new mini games are a good addition to the game.

10. NCAA Football 2007
The major changes over the previous versions are the atmosphere of the game; that has taken it places above the other games and its previous version as well, dynasty mode is still there for the players to enjoy and there are lots of different achievements to unlock and many added graphics as well.

11. Madden NFL 08
The game is highly rated among the critics and the players and has the average rating of 8.2 combined. It has a new “weapons” feature that adds a lot to the game play, the game play is a bit complex for the beginners but with practise manageable. The animations and the graphics both are better than the previous versions of the game.

The Top 20 PSP RPG Games: Taking Roles on the Go

1. Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII is the finest example of a Sony PSP roleplaying game. Combining the team of Hajime Tabata and Tetsuya Nomura, the game adapts an unused Final Fantasy VII scenario developed by Kazushige Nojima. While one might assume that the one character control system makes the game sloppy, it was skillfully parlayed into an action RPG that never stops moving. The story of Zack Fair's quest to look for the missing SOLDIER Genesis Rhapsodos is quite exciting, and the Shinra Electric Power Company storyline lends of level of believability to this incredibly executed game.

2. It would be difficult to not include Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions as a top ranked game. Indeed, it would be possible to do an entire list of the finest achievements that Final Fantasy has seen. One shouldn't be accused of being a fanboy of the series for including it, though, since War of the Lions made up the second installment of the Ivalice Alliance campaign. The game maintains the setting from the PlayStation version, and is based around a complex political drama between Larg and Goltanna. This story is told through the eyes of the youngest member of the noble Beoulve house, Ramza, and the commoner Delita Heiral.

3. Star Ocean: Second Evolution actually pulls ahead of the first game in the series. This RPG is very unique, and features a truly evolving journey. The game may present the player with a different set of choices to work with, depending on whether one plays as Rena or Claude. The game may end in a different fashion for each character, and the choices that one makes further influences these outcomes. The game even has a mode to collect royalties from books that have been written in character. The level of depth is amazing.

4. Star Ocean: First Departure is not a weak game, however, and shouldn't be thought of as simply resting in the shadow of the sequel it spawned. One of the features that many players comment on is the battle engine. Most RPG models work around a turn based combat system, but combat is resolved in Star Ocean in real time. Nevertheless, spells can be used to slow down time as they slightly pause the system to dole out damage. Players can also influence the storyline progression by performing private actions with different characters that they find.

5. Jeanne D'arc was curiously never released in PAL regions, which is perhaps a shame because the story is actually rather accurate to the history of Joan of Arc. Though the story included interesting plot points like undertones of demonic possession for King Henry VI of England and underworld armies during the Hundred Years' War, the game actually does contain numerous contemporaries of the historical leaders. Magical amulets to grant special abilities may not be the most historically accurate aspects of the game, but it is obvious that game producer Akihiro Hino did his homework.

6. YS: The Oath In Felghana shares some elements of the genre that Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII fits into, because it is also an action RPG. The game follows a similar storyline to that of YS III, which it was technically remade from. Dogi and Adol Christin are heading to Redmont, where Dogi was from. The game takes place three years after the previous games, and once they arrive, they find that evil has returned within the timeframe of those three years. The gameplay model is borrowed in part from The Ark of Napishtim. Those that enjoyed the YS III soundtrack will certainly love Yukihiro Jindo's new arrangements made up for this release.

7. Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3 Portable is the Sony PSP release of a game that had to be doing something right considering the various merchandising opportunities that the developers took with it. This game follows the story of a male student in high school who joins an organization called the Specialized Extracurricular Execution Squad. The SEES is investigating Dark Hour, which is a period of time that takes place between days. Few regular people are familiar with this period of time, so the society has to act to fight off Shadows to save the minds of the common residents of the human world.

8. The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky has beautiful artwork, and runs on the same engine that YS VI runs on. Many of the towns have huge numbers of non-player characters that truly lend the game a touch of realism that most other games don't have. The field maps contain treasure that is hidden, and that fact can really push players to rotate the screen and explore in ways that few people would have thought necessary otherwise. The maps themselves can even usually rotate.

9. Lunar: Silver Star Harmony is a remake of a game that has been around for quite some time, and as such has developed an extremely devoted fanbase. The game has received numerous updates, and this version allows all of them to come together on a modern platform. It features an isometric view along with an endearing hand-drawn style of art that might almost make players feel like they are inside of an anime series or even an older classic JRPG. This naturally stems from the fact that the original was released in 1992.

10. Crimson Gem Saga was interestingly designed in Korea. In the world of Latein, a relic called the Crimson Gem is being sought out in a plot that isn't know to the general public. One of the newest graduates of the Green Hill Chevalier Academy, Killian von Rohcoff, gets caught up in the caper and ends up being staged as the protagonist of the video game. Though it was technically a sequel to Astonishia Story, the game is mechanically quite different so the name was changed to reflect this fact.

11. Disgaea 2: Dark Hero Days is essentially a re-release of Cursed Memories, and like most Disgaea PlayStation Portable re-releases there are music and data shops available for the game. These largely allow the player to purchase music to play while exploring Item World. If a player also has an Afternoon of Darkness save file alongside their save file for this game, they can unlock additional content. This is really an interesting feature. It can allow players to do things such as create a female Ronin. Those who are into downloadable content will especially enjoy this game, and may like to have characters like Marona and Asha from Phantom Brave make an appearance in their quest.

12. Shin Megami Tensei: Persona may not rank up there with some of the derivatives that it has spawned, but the original is a solid JRPG nonetheless. It carries a number of allusions to Jungian psychology and the archetypes that come from that ideology. While same gamers might peg it as a game that makes one think too hard, this is where the game shows much of its strength. The entire concept of a persona might make one rethink the entire human condition. As well as a role-playing game, this RPG might be called a social simulation.

13. Wild Arms XF is the first game from this series to make it to the PSP, and takes 2D turn-based tactical combat to the next level. Some people have compared it a combination of chess and classic paper and pen role-playing simulations. The game offers precision control over the military forces that they are placed in command of, and the units can be altered using the game's class system. The experience system allows for permanently learned skills to fill character skill slots in such a way that they can be used outside of the original class.

14. Brave Story: New Traveler comes from a series that might be known to people for other reasons. This is because the game is based on a novel and manga that enjoyed popularity even before this game was released. However, fans of the series outside of the game will notice that the main characters were created for it. Tatsuya and Miki, along with some other members of their party, were inventions of the game's producers. Nevertheless, fans that read the books will find plenty of things to do in the game to keep them occupied. Notably, Wataru makes an appearance to assist Tatsuya and he wields a special blade.

15. Untold Legends: Brotherhood of the Blade was a PSP launch title when it first game out, and takes the form of a third person action roleplaying-game. The game features four classes. The player can select to quest in the game as a Druid, Knight, Alchemist or a Berserker. Needless to say, such classes give the game a feel that is rather close to Dungeons and Dragons. Aven is a city that is so high in the mountains that it might as well be floating in the clouds. The evil that occupies it, however, threatens to spoil the good name of the floating city. It is up to the player to save the day.

16. Class of Heroes shares a lineage with many of the games featured among the top RPG titles for the PSP. Atlus published it, and it has a few unique elements that make it stand out. While it has a dungeon crawling mechanism that will most likely appeal to hardcore gamers, one can set different alignments for the characters in their party to make the game more interesting. In another relatively unique twist, their major divides characters up.

17. Breath of Fire 3 revolves around the story of Ryu, who leads a party of companions throughout a split timeframe. Ryu is presented in the game as both a child and an adult. He is trying to find his place in the world, as well as relocate the friends that he lost. However, unlike many games, players aren't restricted to simply playing as Ryu. Several other characters, including one that has feline traits, allow the game to stand out against a background of numerous similar JRPG titles.

18. Mimana: Iyar Chronicle has been declared a tedious game, but this is actually where it shines. The game is another title that might be best received by hardcore gamers, and the storyline is relatively unique. Crais Sewell is a down and out mercenary who joins the quest of a young girl named Sophie Rothorn. North American players should look out for Crais Sewell's voice. It is provided by Johnny Yong Bosch, who is well known from the English dubs of anime series like Bleach and Trigun. Wendee Lee, who also worked on the dub for Bleach, also makes an appearance in the game.

19. Innocent Life: A Future Harvest Moon features a combination of gaming that lies somewhere between an RPG and a life simulation. The character grows crops and raises livestock throughout the course of the game. They end up learning more about what life really is by going through this process. The main character is the son of Dr. Hope. He is an elderly scholar from an island in the southern hemisphere. He sends his son on a quest to build a farm across ancient ruins, and it is here that the farming simulation takes a hold. The game's plotline depicts technology as having moved to a point where few actually have memories of taking care of real animals.

20. Phantasy Star Portable continues a long tradition of Phantasy Star games that stretch back into the 1980s. The game takes place several months after Phantasy Star Universe, and as such, it appears that the Gurhal Galaxy has finally made peace. However, there is a new special CAST named Vivienne who discovers that there are remnant SEED operatives that are working to disturb the peace. Working alongside her partner, Vivienne goes on a quest to save the Gurhal System as a whole. However, she doesn't expect to have to learn more about humanity in the process.

PSP Game Maker - PSP Constructor

Everyone that has ever played a video game has dreamed about how they would design one of their own. Their imagine whipped through the main characters and the fantasy world that they would explore. But in the past it required lots of training and computer experience to have the skills necessary to make something like this. But as developers have become more and more concerned with open source development, the tools to do things just like this have become more widespread and much easier to use.

The PSP Constructor allows people to build their own video games using a PC Platform that can be played and shared with other users. However, it must be noted that there are limitations to the program that do not necessarily stem from the skills of the designer attempting to produce a game. While many people are saying that this program is simply stealing from the ideas that the program 'Game Maker' originated, most will admit that the makers of PSP Constructor have taken pre-existing ideas and modified or even enhanced them in some way.

'Home-brewed' games is a great idea for any avid video gamer or simply a person looking for a genuine creative outlet. It works on Mac in addition to PC platforms and basically functions by utilizing 'Visual Studio' and a command line to compile different scenarios into a pre-programmed environment. At the core of its concept there is very little original programming, but history has proven that such a thing is not a requirement to make a popular and innovative product.

The biggest plus by far for the average user is that knowledge of code or programming is not involved in the creative process in any way. So to a large degree, the objections to the software is precisely the point of the software. Despite the drawbacks to the software at this stage of the development, such as not being able to save or load games, the project is still early in its development and is yet to gain any widespread appeal. The ultimate potential of the product in the hands of non-programming users is something that could prove to have some interesting appeal and result in unexpected developments in this PSP Constructor's future.

Youtube For PSP

Watching Youtube Videos on Your PSP

Currently PSP owners have not been able to directly use the PSP's web browser to directly link to Youtube and watch any of the videos available on the site. There are currently ways to watch youtube video on your PSP without hacking the firmware.

Using the web browser on your PSP as well as a wifi connection you can visit a site that will allow you to search for and download youtube videos. In your address bar type in http://www.pspube.com.
The page is a standard black background with orange text. You move the arrow down the page until you get to the option of Click Here to Start Searching. Place the arrow on it and press the x button. This new page will display two search bars one listed as “hot topics” and the one below as “advanced search”. If you are looking for a particular video use the advanced search tab. The next page is a terms of service page you need to scroll down and highlight the Continue to Search Results phrase and press the x button. Now you have a page that has returned searches from youtube. On the left hand side are pictures of the video followed by the name of the video. Choose the video you are interested in and move the cursor to the picture and press the x button. Now you have a choice of downloading the video using tubidy or for a hi-resolution version you can download the video using filehd. Follow the instructions and make sure that all videos saved to your video folder on your PSP ends with .MP4. That is the format that PSP video's play in. Some videos will work others will not and thats only because of the resolution of the video the PSP can handle. This method requires nothing but your PSP and a wifi internet connection as well as enough memory.

You can choose to go to the site directly but instead of the regular youtube address you can visit the mobile youtube link. In your PSP's address bar type in m.youtube.com. You can search for videos you want to view. In the mobile youtube link you will place your arrow on the actual name of the video and press the x button. Once the page loads go to your address bar and hit the x button again. The reason will become clear in a moment. Once the page has refreshed you have to enter www.keepvid.com address. Once there you move the arrow into the url box on the home page. The PSP text entry screen will emerge then press the 'SELECT' button two times this will bring up the 'HISTORY' box in the upper left side of the text entry screen. Highlight the history box and press x. This will display your current history. In the history box choose the m.youtube url with the video you want. Press the 'START' button twice. From here you can download the video to your PSP's Video folder. Remember to have your Java settings on when choosing this option.

If you have a computer, mac or PC will do just find you can go to youtube and search for the videos you want to watch on your PSP. Copy the address of the video and use keepvid.com. Enter the youtube video address in the keepvid.com site. Download the MP4 file and save it. Some videos may or may not work. This is where your computer comes in very handy. You can download a free program to convert all files to fit on your PSP. The most popular and easiest to use is PSP Video 9 which works for both MAC and Windows computers. This allows you to make any video playable on your PSP. For Windows only pc's you can use Sony's proprietary software called Media Go. Transfer the converted files into your Video folder on your PSP.

Those currently are the best options to view Youtube videos on your PSP. Try each option and choose the one that best fits your needs. Obviously if you know you will not have a wifi connection available downloading and converting the video is the best option.
